Southern Style Fried Parmesan & Jalapeno Corn Fried
Directions
Remove husk and hair/sears from corn if there is any. Then rinse the ears of corn. Get large bowl and small bowl, turn small bowl upside down into large bowl. Use it as a platform to stand your corn on while you cut. Make your first cut very thin and then make a second cut that is thin too. Finally using your knife scrape the cob. All the remaining corn, juice or milk should come out and your cob should be dry (as in video). Add flour, sugar, water, milk and spices to corn and stir to mix. Place bacon grease and butter in pan and let heat until hot. Add corn, jalapenos and parmesan into pan and fry for no longer than 10 or 12 minutes on medium high heat. Pour into pretty platter or dish. Top with bacon and jalapenos if desired. Serve and Enjoy!
